Lanyard
This is an item of uniform that is awarded in the Scout section and Explorer Scout section. This is awarded in the scouts for becoming an Assistant Patrol Leader (also a Patrol Leader with the addition of a Bosuns Call denoting the rank)
This is also the same in the Explorer Unit for Assistant Watch Leaders and Watch Leaders again with the addition of a Bosuns call for the Watch Leader as a mark of rank, unless they have already been a patrol leader in the troop

Qualified Adults
This is the Gilwell Woggle this can be worn by leaders who have passed elements of the adult training program. When an adult is fully qualified they are also awarded a Wood Badge
