We have at last had our container delivered to Rammey Island after much deliberation and searching for one we could afford. We took deleivery the other week (in April 08) we did have to do a bit of preperation beforhand by laying down railway sleepers to hold it in place.

We had Alan and Paul,the two woodwrking wizards rack it out at the scout camp early May 08 aided by Mark D and lesley and Jan between us we pained all the rust spots removed all the advertising hoardings and went and got all the wood and locks etc. We also found time to re lay the landing stage with roof felt to help look after it.

we need to get some paint to go over the outside but its well on the way to being finished and wuill make a huge difference to putting boats away when we stay at the island in future
