Welcome to 201st Islington

The 201st Islington is a sea scout group based in Highbury. First founded in 1919 but officially recognised in 1921.

We have three sections within the group; Beavers, Cubs and Scouts. We offer the same level of scouting as land scouts, but we also offer nautical activities as well.

We currently meet on a Monday at two sites, offering an exciting active programme and a host of opportunities to our young people.

If you would like more information or you would like to join us, use the contact us link.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
